Dear Smoke Rise Families,
We are so excited about our 2009 season of IMPACT Cheerleading at SRBC! The ages for our program this year range from Kindergarten through 6th grade. If Cheerleading is something your child is interested in, We hope that you would take a moment to review the information below and think about joining us this season.
We are the Smoke Rise Heat! We are a competition cheerleading squad, but we cheer with purpose, excellence, dedication, and teamwork. The most important skills the cheerleaders will learn, are the ones that will impact the girls, their families, communities, and world for the kingdom of God. We are serious cheerleaders, but we are also serious about growing in our relationship to God and each other. We seek to promote a healthy environment for cheerleaders and their families to grow. The Season begins August 11th. We will compete in 4 competitions including a National's competition in Orlando, Florida in January!
There is an informational Parents Meeting on August 3rd (Monday Night) at SRBC from 7:00-8:00pm. Signs will point parents to the correct room. At the meeting, parents will learn about the IMPACT program, meet the coaches, and get an overview of what the season will be like. Also, parents can sign up for the program that night in the missions office if they want to join us!
